Margaret was admitted in December 2021, after being hospitalized for hypercapnia with hypoxia and placed on an emergency BiPap. Once she was stabilized, she was sent to us for additional rehabilitation. Initially, she was non-compliant with respiratory services. After several weeks of education and therapy, she has been successful with her BiPap. She is working towards independently maintaining her respiratory wellness and is preparing to be discharged. Margaret is much more confident going home after understanding how to prevent and treat her respiratory illnesses.
