The Encore team includes pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, user-experience designers, and software engineers, who work together to address and solve health care challenges.
Members of Encore's clinical team have decades of experience creating acute and post-acute care protocols, while members of the technical team have developed innovative software and hardware solutions for remote patient monitoring.
President & CEO
Zach grew up in the homecare/respiratory industry & in a family of successful Respiratory Therapists & entrepreneurs. After becoming a Respiratory Therapist himself, Zach worked as a staff RT in Acute Care for 3 years before transitioning back into Post Acute Care. Zach served as Special Projects Manager & National Clinical Educator for Linde-RSS and served as VP of Health Management & Chief Clinical Officer at Alana Healthcare developing the CROM program that transitioned the company from a Durable Medical Equipment provider in TN into national Chronic Care Management organization. Zach is the Homecare Section Chair for the AARC and the Past President of the TN Society for Resp. Care.
Chief Strategy Officer
Dan served in various executive roles and eventually as President of one of the top Respiratory and mobility device manufacturers DeVilbiss. Dan founded Inspired Technologies, a VC funded startup where he developed & patented multiple devices including the SmartDose oxygen delivery conserving device. Easley then joined Klingensmith Healthcare & developed the most widely known COPD management program, DASH which was published 40+ times in almost every notable pulmonary journal in the US. DASH was awarded the Center of Excellence two consecutive years through the American College of Chest Physicians.
Chief Operations Officer
Keisha is an experienced sales & operations executive who is a co-founder of Encore. Keisha started her career as an RT where she advanced to Director in less than one year. Over the next three years, she went on to become the top account executive at the global respiratory provider Linde. Keisha served at Alana Healthcare as VP of Facility Contracting & Business Development & Served as VP of Operations for Gantt’s other company AireMED, LLC which has now merged with Encore HC.

A graduate of Transylvania University and East Tennessee State University, Ryan began his career in the Johnson City area in acute care and long-term acute care. Upon returning to Nashville, he was recruited to operate a ventilator unit in the long-term care setting. The organization was recognized in 2011 as the recipient of the Center of Excellence awarded by the American College of Chest Physicians. Ryan was then recruited to serve as the Director of Operations for Transitional Care for a Nashville Based Respiratory Services/Population Health Organization, opening a series of ventilator units regionally. In 2014 Ryan led the opening of a Nashville based ventilator program that quickly became one of the top programs in the US. In 2016, he opened the first ventilator/dialysis unit in the state of Tennessee. Recent winner of the Specialty Practitioner of the Year Award through the AARCRyan has a unique skill set as he specializes in quality-based clinical outcomes, skilled nursing reimbursement, and staff development/education.
Dir. of BioMed Services
Before joining Encore Healthcare, Ed worked in a variety of roles as a certified biomed technician. Ed is the former instructor at Kettering college in Ohio and former Biomed tech for GE from 1996-2013. Ed Joining the Encore Team makes Encore one of the only companies in Post Acute Care who has a certified biomed tech.
Executive Medical Advisor
Dr. Kane was a RRT prior to medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. He then went on to Vanderbilt University for his internship, residency, fellowship, and research. Previous Associate Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Virginia, medical director for several large critical care units, pulmonary rehab, respiratory therapy among other positions.
Frederick D. Seifer
Medical Advisor, Population Health
Frederic D. Seifer, MD, FCCP presently serves as Medical Director of Population Health, St. Lawrence Health System (SLHS), Potsdam, NY. Prior to assuming this role, Dr. Seifer served as Medical Advisor for Pulmonary Health Innovation for Community Health Systems (CHS), Nashville, TN. Dr. Seifer’s research interests and experience include smoking cessation, pulmonary rehabilitation, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchiectasis and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Seifer completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Dr. Seifer was a recipient of a NIH supported research pulmonary fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Macy has a background in customer service as well as managing physician practices. Macy directs Encores only consumer focused product line, Travelox. Travelox is a service that provides portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) and accessories, suitable for travel to any destination, helping providers and other organizations meet the requirements of any passenger transport service on behalf of patients or customers.
